  • Mua CoNote Plus: việc thanh toán do Google Play xử lý, chúng tôi không nhận thông tin thẻ.

CoNote Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

CoNote is a shared notes app for families, couples and small groups, developed by Neobuster Studio. This page explains what data CoNote collects, what it is used for, who can see it and what your rights are.

1. Data CoNote collects

  • Account: your username; the recovery email you enter when signing up (to send confirmation and password-reset links); your password is stored hashed by Firebase Authentication and we cannot read it.
  • Content you create: notes, checklists, edit history (up to 30 versions per note), group names, emoji, photos and backgrounds, your profile picture (an emoji, a drawn avatar or a photo you pick).
  • Collaboration data: the groups you are in and their invite codes; each note stores the username and device model (for example "Samsung SM-A515F") of its last editor; while the app is open, members of your groups see that you are online, which note you are viewing or editing, and where your cursor is. "Viewing" data is removed when you leave the note or lose your connection.
  • CoNote Plus purchases: payment is handled by Google Play; we never receive card details. The app receives the purchase status from Google Play, tied to a hashed account ID (not your name or email). The last time Plus was confirmed is stored on your profile and on the groups you share Plus with.
  • Crash reports: when the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends a report with the stack trace, device model, Android version, app version and a random installation ID. Reports do not contain your notes.
  • App protection: Firebase App Check uses Google Play Integrity to confirm that requests come from the genuine CoNote app.
  • When you contact us or report something: if you email us (including reports about content in a group), we receive your email address and what you write, only to answer and handle the request.
  • Stored only on your device: light/dark theme, language, the selected group, which notes you have read. These are never sent to our servers. Signing out removes the account's local copy from the device, unless changes are still waiting to be sent because you are offline.

CoNote has no ads, does not sell data and does not track you across other apps or websites. The app does not ask for location, contacts, microphone or camera; photos are only taken from Android's photo picker when you choose one.

2. How CoNote uses data

  • Signing in, syncing notes across your devices, sharing within groups, showing who is viewing or editing.
  • Sending email confirmation and password-reset links.
  • Providing CoNote Plus to buyers and to the groups they share it with.
  • Finding and fixing bugs, and preventing abuse.

3. Who can see your data

  • Members of your groups: your username, profile picture, the notes in that group (including their history), the device model of edits, and your online and viewing/editing status. Personal notes are visible only to your account.
  • Signing in with a username: so that you can sign in and recover your password with your username, CoNote stores a link between your username and your recovery email. It is looked up one exact username at a time and cannot be listed; password-reset links are only ever sent to your email.
  • Service providers: Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, Crashlytics, App Check and Google Play Billing). Data is stored on Google's servers and processed by Google under Google's terms.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

4. Storage and security

  • Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and is stored encrypted by Google.
  • "Lock note" only hides a note on screen behind your phone's screen lock (fingerprint, face, PIN); its content is not end-to-end encrypted.
  • Data is kept for as long as your account exists. Crash reports are kept by Crashlytics for up to 90 days.

5. Deleting your account and data

  • In the app: Settings → Delete account, then enter your password. CoNote immediately deletes your profile (picture), all your personal notes with their history, your username and recovery email; removes you from every group; and deletes any group you were the last member of, with all its notes.
  • Notes you wrote in groups that still have other members stay with them, with the username of their author/editor.
  • No access to the app: follow the account deletion request page.
  • A CoNote Plus subscription on Google Play is not cancelled by deleting your account: cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

6. Children

CoNote is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you know of a child under 13 who created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

You can view and edit your data in the app, delete notes, leave groups and delete your account at any time. For any question about your data, contact us at the address below.

8. Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
